With just over a month to go before the opening race, Eddie has still not signed up for the 2004 championship. With a maximum of 75 drivers allowed in each race per meeting, time might be running short.
After a disappointing 2003 season, in which Eddie only managed two C final wins, he vowed to come back stronger in 2004. However, latest rumours are that he has not signed up and it is not clear whether, if he does, it will be for the entire season or just race by race like he did in 2002.
Eddie was also expected to enter more endurance races this year, having appeared three times last year for both Racing Imperative and IMSD Racing but this too has not been confirmed.
Another delay is with the redesign of the official Eddie Hall website, which was due to be completed in January. This matter has also risen questions about his commitment to racing this year.
Neither Eddie or his manager have made any comments regarding either of these matters but an announcement is expected sometime later this week.
