Eddie will not test a Thunderkart this season, it has been revealed. Rumours were that Eddie was due to test at the Buckmore Park circuit later this year, but this is not the case according to him.
He did, however, admit that there is a strong possibility that he will test one in the not-to-distant future.
"Due to budget constraints this season, there is absolutely no chance of me competing in anything else this year. I am concentrating 100 percent on the Sprint Championship at the moment and I'm having a good year so far.
"I always want to try new things and I am not ruling out the possibility of testing a Thunderkart at some point in the future, but not this year."
Eddie is having his most competitive season in the championship this year after moving to the Heavyweight category, scoring two A final finishes out of four starts (and only missing out at the last race due to a penalty). He will be racing at Ellough Park on August 21st.
