Eddie will head to Wales tomorrow for the first double-header of the season. Eddie will be racing in the sprint race on the Saturday and then the endurance race on the Sunday with IMSD Racing team-mates Stephen Deuchar and Ian Wilson.
When asked what his hopes were for the weekend, Eddie replied, "Obviously I want to make the A final in the sprint race. I'm getting anxious that I haven't done that yet this year so that is obviously the goal. Other than that, I just want to use the sprint to get some track time ready to resume our championship challenge in the endurance. That is really the priority for me at the moment."
Because of the extra track time Eddie will be getting on the Saturday, the team have apparently decided to have Eddie start the race (as he will have had more starts under his belt).
Eddie has admitted to being slightly worried about this. "So far I have started a race for the team twice. Once at the opening round this year, and on my first outing for them here (Glan-Y-Gors) in 2003. Both times I was taken out on the opening lap. I am determined not to let that happen on Sunday and break my Jinx."
