Eddie has turned down an offer to race in the Club 100 Elite championship. The championship, which is usually contested by champions and drivers with at least one year's experience in the sprint or endurance championship, is seen as being the top echelon of the series.
Eddie is reported to have turned down the offer due to a combination of budget limitations and the fact that he wants to concentrate one hundred percent on the sprint championship.
Eddie is racing this weekend at Rye House in Hoddesdon. It will be his first race in the lightweight category having switched from the heavyweight class after his first meeting.
