IMSD Racing have officially confirmed their entry in the 10 Hour race in France, which will take place over the traditional Bank Holiday weekend in May.
After several successful years at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, the 10 Hour has been moved to the Circuit du Var near Nice in the South of France.
“I’m really happy to be making the trek down to Nice.” Said Eddie, “I have loved racing at Spa over the past few years but I’m glad to be going somewhere new.”
This announcement comes only weeks after Eddie had to turn down an offer to drive in the Le Mans 24 Hour kart race.
“Stuart [Belbin] asked me just before Christmas if I would be available to race at Le Mans but I had to turn it down due to a lack of finance. That was a real shame as I would really love to do that race. Still, I think the 10 Hr du Var is going to be an event not to be missed so I’m looking forward to it.”
