In recent discussions, Eddie has revealed that there is a 'better than average chance' that he will race in the prestigious 24 Hours du Le Mans race next season. Eddie had to turn down an offer to race this year with a top BPKDC GP League team (whose drivers recently finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the championship) due to budget constraints.
Although Eddie has yet to make an announcement on where he will be next year, he has promised that he will definitely compete in all rounds of the Premier Endurance championship and almost certainly all rounds of the new European championship.
Eddie has talked about racing at Le Mans for the last two seasons and was quite vocal in his displeasure at not being able to afford to race there in 2007.
