It was another busy month of racing in May with quite a few good results to report.
On 7th May, Eddie, along with Galliard team mates Paul Williams and James Godfrey, took part in a charity race at Buckmore Park. An annual 6 hour endurance event using the Honda 390’s (or “Lawnmowers” as Eddie prefers to call them) in aid of Down Syndrome saw Eddie and his team not only score a dominant victory but also help to raise over £20,000 for charity.
The following week it was off to Bayford Meadows for the Premier series. Eddie scored a third place and fourth place finish in the 2 sprint races.
Then it was off to Dorset and the Clay Pigeon circuit. Again, the sprints saw Eddie score another third place finish to move him up the order in the championship. Unfortunately, the endurance championship continues to be a struggle with mechanical woes hampering the team in every race so far this season.
The busy schedule continues with a 2 hour endurance in the Elite series a week after Clay, the next round of the 60 Minute Challenge the following week and then off to Wales two weeks after that for the next round of the Premier series where Eddie will be hoping to continue his recent run of form.
