The 2013 premier season came to a close at Buckmore Park at the weekend. It was another low-key event with Galliard again suffering some bad luck and only managing 7th. The sprint race on Sunday was also nothing to write home about with Eddie receiving a black flag in the first heat and only going on to finish 12th and 15th in the two finals.
However, details began to emerge over Eddie’s 2013 plans after he announced he wouldn’t be driving for Galliard next year. Rumours about his future in the sprint championship continued after some comments he made over the weekend. He has already stated that an official announcement over his future would be made after the final race of the Open Championship at Rye House next weekend.
With Eddie already guaranteed second place in the Open Championship after another successful year, he will no doubt be hoping to end the 2013 season on a high.
