Eddie's winning streak in the Frontmedia Squash league was ended last night by arch rival Simon Tompsett. Simon beat Eddie 3 games to 1 in the evening match to put an end to Eddie's recent dominance.
Eddie was, as always, was philosophical in defeat "Simon played very well all match and beat me fair and square." were Eddie's comments afterwards "Some of his serves were just impossible to return and I think that is where I lost the match".
It is yet to be decided when the next match will be played, although it is likely that Simon will face the reigning champion, Neil Maidment.
