Eddie has set himself the target of challenging the top 20 in 2003 Club100 championship. Eddie, who finished 31st out of 144 in his first season last year thinks that this is a realistic target.
"Last year was my first full season of racing for over 3 years, and it was by far the most competitive series I have ever raced in. To finish in the top quarter I think was quite something so I think that aiming for the top 20 is realistic."
For Eddie to finish in the top 20, he needs to be making regular appearances in the A final. A challenge that he relishes. "It won't be easy to do, but I managed it in my first season once - something that is not easy to do - and I improved every race last year. I think as long as I can keep up that level of progress, my goal is realistic.
"I have more confidence going into this season. Not only do I have the experience of a full season behind me but, more importantly, I have now been to all but one of the circuits on the calendar - a luxury that I did not enjoy last season. This, hopefully, will make a huge difference in my performance. There are some truly great drivers who race in this series who will remain at the top for a long time to come, but hopefully I will give them something to worry about by the end of this season. We shall see."
The new season gets under way with testing at Buckmore Park on the 8th of February.
